Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the public Winsun marketing website, including its contact form and legal pages. In this policy, “Winsun,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this website.
The Winsun console, API, purchased modules, implementation services and customer workspaces may involve additional processing and are governed by the applicable customer agreement, data-processing terms and any product-specific notice. This policy does not replace those documents.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, work email address, company name and phone number where provided, the modules you select, and the message or operational details you choose to share.
Technical and security information. When the contact form is submitted, the website records the originating IP address. The web server and hosting environment may also process ordinary request information such as browser type, device information, requested URL, timestamps, referring page and diagnostic or security logs.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information or other highly sensitive information in the contact form.
How we use information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your operational requirements, recommend relevant Winsun modules, prepare or discuss implementation scope, maintain a record of business communications, and provide requested follow-up.
We use technical information to deliver the website, maintain session and security functions, prevent spam and abuse, enforce rate limits, diagnose faults, protect the website and improve reliability.
We may also use information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims, and protect the rights, safety and integrity of Winsun, our users or others.
Legal grounds where applicable
Depending on where you live, our legal basis may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, pursuing legitimate interests such as responding to business enquiries and securing our services, complying with legal obligations, or your consent where consent is specifically requested.
Where processing relies on legitimate interests, we consider whether those interests are necessary and balanced against your rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing, although withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
International processing
The website and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws and government access rules can differ between jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, we will use an appropriate safeguard, such as contractual protections, an adequacy decision or another legally recognised mechanism.
Retention
We retain enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage prospective or active business relationships, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, accounting or reporting obligations.
Retention periods may vary according to the nature of the enquiry, whether a commercial relationship develops, the sensitivity of the information and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely isolate it, subject to backup and legal-retention constraints.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we hold. Measures may include access restrictions, validation and rate limiting, secure configuration, monitoring, backups and protections provided by our hosting environment.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information submitted through this website has been compromised, contact us promptly.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant privacy or data-protection authority.
To make a request, contact us using the address below and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of the request. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, including obligations to retain records or protect the rights of others.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use the contact form to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to the Winsun console or third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage you to review those notices before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, our practices or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version on this page and change the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional notice where appropriate.
